Adelaide to Kangaroo Island 5 day Adventure

Day 1: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island

Early morning departure from Adelaide, where our private, air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up. We’ll board the ferry to Kangaroo Island, enjoying scenic views as we cross the Backstairs Passage. On arrival, we’ll stop by the Penneshaw Penguin Centre for a chance to see the local penguin population (if available), before heading to Seafront Hotel for check-in. After settling in, enjoy free time to explore Penneshaw or relax. The evening is yours, with an option for a group dinner to kick off your adventure.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island Exploration

After breakfast, we’ll start our day with a guided tour of Pennington Bay, followed by a visit to Cape Willoughby, where you’ll learn about the island’s maritime history. We’ll then enjoy wine tastings at Dudley Wines and False Cape Wines. In the afternoon, we’ll stop by Clifford's Honey Farm and the Eucalyptus Distillery for a cider tasting. The day concludes with a visit to Raptor Domain for the Birds of Prey Show, before returning to Seafront Hotel for the night.

Day 3: Wildlife & Nature Highlights

Today, we head to the Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided beach tour, where you’ll get up close to the resident sea lions. We’ll then explore Flinders Chase National Park, home to the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, before visiting Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse. After a scenic stop at Vivonne Bay and a visit to Emu Bay Lavender Farm, we’ll check into the Ozone Hotel in Kingscote for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Taste of Kangaroo Island

Start your day with a tour of Stokes Bay, followed by a gin tasting at Kangaroo Island Spirits. You’ll have time for lunch and local exploration in Kingscote before enjoying a free afternoon. Optional activities may include a visit to local beaches or shops. Tonight, relax at the Ozone Hotel and enjoy a group dinner (optional).

Day 5: Return to Adelaide
On the final day, we’ll make our way back to Penneshaw, stopping to explore the local sights before catching the return ferry to Adelaide, where we’ll say our goodbyes and drop you off at your preferred location.
